Industrial detergents are cleaning chemicals designed for more demanding applications than the domestic variants we are accustomed to. These detergents are specialized for specific activities, and increasingly, specific chemicals are used for each type of cleaning.
When combined with industrial brushes, better results are obtained because industrial detergents soften and dislodge dirt, and the brush scrapes, moves, and displaces the dirt to leave the surface completely clean.
The most commonly used detergents are:
- Alkaline industrial degreaser: Formulated to emulsify fats and oils, as well as dirt adhered to the surface to be cleaned.
- Descaler: Formulated to remove non-greasy dirt adhered to different surfaces.
- Deodorizer: A chemical product that aims to eliminate and mask bad odors from surfaces with strong smells, generally dirt of organic origin.
