    Description

The Sacema Push Brush consists of a 5 mm thick carbon steel rigid reusable frame and high density hard polypropylene fibre push brush modules, as well as handles for quick attachment to the forks of the lifting machines.

In standard models, it is available in 4 standard sweeping widths: 1200 mm, 1800 mm, 2400 mm and 3000 mm, plus possible accessories.

The steel frame is surface-treated, shot-blasted with an anti-corrosion primer and painted. A high visibility reflective strip is included.

    • It is quick and easy to use, install and store.
    • Significantly reduces cleaning time.
    • It does not need any maintenance because it has no moving parts.
    • No need to buy a traditional sweeping machine to clean large areas.
    • Easily customisable.
    • It is not a stick or strip product, the brushes are fully dense with high density hard plastic fibre, with superior pushing power.
    • Spare push brush modules are available from stock for quick replacement.
    • Can be used in multiple applications, including agriculture, industry, or public works.

    Sectors of Use

    Agriculture & Livestock

    • Sweeping of cereals, animal feed, straw, manure, mud, dirt, and sludge.
    • Cleaning of silos, stables, warehouses, farms, feeding of drains, grain stores…
    • Sweeping of slurry, both liquid and manure.
    • Animal feed, grain, straw, and alfalfa.
    • Feed sweeper in its swivelling version.

Industry warehouses, car parks and public areas:

    • Outdoor surfaces with packaging waste, pallets, or gravel.
    • Cleaning for maintenance, sweeping of waste and shavings.
    • Sweeping in large warehouses, fairs, agglomerations…
    • Street cleaning after floods, storms, and catastrophes.
    • Sweeping after large agglomerations, rubbish, snow and wate.

    Public works or quarries.

    • Sand backfilling and finishing on roads and pavements.
    • Moving sand and gravel.
    • Stone clearing, smoothing of roads for vehicle access on construction sites.

    Recycling and waste treatment plants:

    • Collection and cleaning of paper, cardboard, plastic, glass, and rubble.
    • Recycling industry and urban waste.
    • Movement of waste in the facilities.
    • Maintenance of the building
    • Industrial waste, shavings, scrap metal, windscreen glass, pieces, and scrap material.

    Models

We also have a rotating brush, with the possibility of turning to either side and leaving the residue on one side or using it as a foodstuff’s harvester in agriculture.

A multitude of accessories to add functionalities (modular structure, anti-overflow plate, V-shaped front collector or attachment to loaders or tractors).

    SRANDARD PUSH BRUSH

The standard push brush manufactured by Sacema is straight, in other words it pushes or moves the residue forward.

As standard it has 4 sweeping widths: 1200 mm, 1800 mm, 2400 mm and 3000 mm.

Intermediate sizes can be made to order, although this is not usually worthwhile, as the intermediate size is obtained by cutting the top size, which is more expensive.

It is possible to make double section push brush, coupling two together.

    PUSH BRUSH EXTRAS: V MODULES

The V-modules, or front pick-up, is an extra that is welded to the pusher frame to prevent debris from being lost and left behind on the sides of the push brush, causing the swept material to be concentrated in the central part of the push brush.

This is a pair of modules, equivalent to the rest of the push brush modules, making twice as much swept material at the edges.

The frame has a welded side reinforcement to ensure that the rigidity of the assembly is maintained.

    PUSH BRUSH EXTRAS: SWIVELLING MODULES

In many cases, it is desirable for the push brush to push the residue to one side instead of pushing it forward.

The most obvious example of this is the use of the pusher as a feed pusher in livestock housing on farms.

The user can adjust the pusher to the desired angle in each case.

    PUSH BRUSH COUPLING EXTRAS

The standard push brush is prepared to work with the forks of forklift machines. However, there are users who have machines that do not have forks, and additional couplings must be prepared: 3-point tractor couplings, quick couplings for forklifts, shovel couplings, and so on.

    FAQs

How is a push brush attached to a forklift machine?

The pusher frame incorporates 2 tubes to insert the forks, spaced 800 mm apart, at the sides plus spacers.
The tubes are 165 x 60 mm which leads to an internal recess of 155x55 mm, which is sufficient for most commercial forks.
Hand-operated clamping levers are available for clamping against the forks, so no tools are required for clamping.

What are the standard sweeping widths of the push brush?

The standard widths of the push brush are 1200 mm, 1800 mm, 2400 mm, 3000 mm.
Optionally, pushers of intermediate sizes can be made by cutting from the top size. They can even be made in sizes greater than 3000 mm, subject to an engineering study.

What is the thickness and finish of the push brush frame?

The push brush frame is made of 5 mm thick carbon steel, and has an industrial surface treatment, consisting of a pre-cleaning with shot blasting, an application of an anti-corrosive primer base and a final blue painted finish.

What is the thickness of the brush hair, is it hard?

What is the thickness of the brush hair, is it hard?

What is the finish of the push sweeper?

Despite being a sweeper without a motorised brush, it leaves a good finish for most applications, especially agricultural, livestock, industrial or recycling.

I want to distribute the push brush, and I want it in our corporate colours and with our stickers, is that possible?

Everything is possible, and it could be done perfectly, but for one or very few units, it would be quite expensive, as they are painted in production batches.
It is possible to paint, at no extra cost, in custom colours for deliveries of 12 frames.
Stickers from a dealer would not have any additional cost, and there is no minimum quantity.
What cannot be changed is the colour of the filaments, unless hundreds of brushes are purchased, which will have to be studied depending on the production.

Does it have a motor or moving parts?

No, the pusher does not have an engine as it works solely by pushing. If you need a higher pushing capacity, you will have to opt for an agricultural sweeper.

Is it effective in pushing dust?

To collect dust, you need a sweeper with a motorised brush and suction, so it is not suitable for pushing dust. The pusher will dislodge the dust, but some of it will remain in suspension and some of it will end up settling on the previously cleaned surface.
Consult us according to the meters to be cleaned, the frequency and the degree of dirt to propose the industrial sweeper that best suits your needs.
