    Sacema has two solar panel cleaning robots to recover up to 15% extra energy generation with the photovoltaic panels.

    AMECA and AMECA+ are our solar panel cleaning robots for cleaning photovoltaic installations.

    Specially designed for cleaning panels on roofs of warehouses or buildings, floating installations, solar farms or any surface that has difficult access areas with little space between the aisles and needs to be cleaned.

    The solar cleaning robot is a very safe and easy to install machine, as it is possible to place the robot on the solar panel, with a crane suspended from a hook, which allows it to be installed by a single operator.

    This avoids the risk of personnel falling as they do not have to climb onto the panel platform.

    It is a high-performance robot, which, thanks to having several motors and a high-performance power transmission system, is able to climb and work perfectly on panels with an inclination of up to 45% without any type of cable or fastening element, as well as a high-tech speed control system.

    The solar cleaning robot is the perfect complement, as it allows to clean any solar farm, with difficult access and reduced space to perform such cleaning with the hydraulic arm for tractors. This is a totally safe professional tool, radio-controlled, which provides great productivity.

    Why buy?

     Our solar panel cleaning robots, both the AMECA and AMECA+, are capable of cleaning 400 square metres per hour in 2 passes (back and forth of the robot).

    It cleans perfectly, thanks to its 2 technical brushes (front and rear) which are specifically designed for the robot to clean without leaving marks or scratches on its surface and at a speed of 30 metres per minute, being very easy to handle and control with a radio-controlled remote control.

    The cleaning robots can work both dry and wet, with a water consumption of between 0.2 and 0.6 litres / clean square metre of panel.

    With 180 mm diameter brushes, the large AMECA robot (1200x1500x430 and 74 Kg) has a working width of 1100 mm, while the small AMECA+ robot (900x1400x400 and 53 Kg) has a working width of 850 mm, but due to its better weight it is a very competitive option for ease of positioning and handling.

    A fundamental issue is the autonomy of the battery, which our solar cleaning robots incorporate 2 complete sets to have a full autonomy of 8 hours to complete a working day with interchangeable batteries.
