Description
Sacema supplies a wide range of Abrasive Pastes, both in liquid and solid forms. Their behaviour and qualities confer them as an indispensable complement for the surface finishing work of the polishing buffs and abrasive tools when a superior quality surface treatment is required.
We have a wide variety of both liquid and solid abrasive pastes to meet the needs and demands of the industry, from the pre-polishing to the polishing phase.
If you still have any questions or queries about Abrasive Pastes, do not hesitate on contact us, and we will answer as soon as possible.
Types
Liquid Abrasive Pastes:
Liquid abrasive pastes of high viscosity can be applied manually or in application guns both at high pressure and at low ones of medium viscosity.
In addition, we can supply equipment and accessories for injection of liquid pastes, as well as high and medium pressure guns, tanks and pumps.
Solid Abrasive Pastes:
The most common solid abrasive pastes are used in both manual and automatic applications, which requires knowing the measurements and dimensions of the bars.
Impregnations
The impregnations serve to enhance the aggressiveness and longevity of the materials, as well as improve the adhesion of the Abrasive Pastes. It favours the stability of the Polishing Buffs and Abrasive Tools, avoiding the breakage of the fibres even at high speeds, allowing a better performance. There are several types of impregnations:
- Thermoplastic impregnations (Type H):
H2: Light green with medium hardness. It is used for sisal rope.
H5: Yellow with medium hardness. It is used in sisal and cotton/sisal.
H5a: Blue with medium to low hardness. It is used in sisal and cotton/sisal.
H6: White and high hardness. It is used in sisal and cotton/sisal.
- Thermosetting impregnations (Type V):
V66: Colourless with medium hardness. It is used in sisal and cotton/sisal.
VI4: Hard and dry green colour. High aggressiveness and high duration. It is used in sisal and cotton/sisal.
- Odorous impregnations:
8S: Yellow, hardens and increases aggressiveness. It is used in cotton
K5: Light red. It is used in natural Tampico fibre.
- Impregnations for abrasive felt:
PH90: Standard impregnation with medium hardness.
PH210: Very hard, only for very specialized applications.
