Our animal comfort totem is designed to facilitate scratching and the quality of life of the animals that use it.
Whether they are horses, cows, sheep, goats, etc. any livestock animal has problems with itching and discomfort from insects, flies, mosquitoes or parasites.
The animals really enjoy our brushes as they are designed for their comfort, reducing stress levels and improving their productivity.
The equipment solves all these difficulties in a simple and effective way.
For this application it is not necessary to use complex motorised equipment, as we have found that by using a static scratching brush, the animals use it continuously.
This reduces the problems of electrical breakdowns and does not consume any energy.
This means that our animal comfort totem can be installed in the middle of an esplanade without access to electricity.
This product is made up of a very robust carbon steel frame and with the technical brushes to choose between medium, high or low hardness, and a height adjustment system according to the size of the animals, the needs of each installation are fully covered.

Types
The animal comfort brushes manufactured by Sacema are grouped into 3 major groups:
1. Vertical cylindrical totems to be placed isolated in an area of free access for the livestock, whether in the middle of the pasture, in the stall, in a passage area, or in any location where the livestock move freely.
2. Pillar brushes to be placed on the pillars of the shed or stall, and the animals have access to the side of the pillars for scratching. They are also usually placed in the aisles and passageways.
3. Beam brushes to be placed on the rafters, tendejones or under low roofs of farms or stables, in order to allow the animals to scratch their backs.
A combination of totem pole and beam is available for isolated areas, either L-shaped with a beam, or T-shaped for a combination of a cylindrical brush with two beams so that 2 animals can scratch each other and it is more balanced.
The brushes, whether pillar, beam or totem, are fixed to the floor with countersunk bolts to ensure no injury or wounding of the animals.
Material
This totem consists of a sturdy carbon steel frame.
The technical brushes are cylindrical brushes whose filament density is specially designed to come into direct contact with the animals. You can choose between medium, high or low hardness.
A system of height regulation according to the size of the animals, thus covering the needs of each installation. And without electricity consumption.
