During confinement, and in the face of the need to provide urgent equipment solutions to help fight the coronavirus pandemic, Sacema’s technical team, led by Juan Martínez Baragaño in collaboration with Insatech multidisciplinary engineering, led by José Manuel Cuesta, and Diableco electronic engineering, initiated Germi´s development project.
The Project won a public competition of fighting tools that posed solutions to challenges arising from the Covild-19, funded by Gijón Impulsa, which accelerated the development of the equipment.
In just 6 weeks, Germi goes on the market creating great expectation in both the public and private sectors, being the first solution that goes on the market ensuring the elimination of 99% of the viruses and bacteria from the soles of the shoes, without the use of chemicals.
